Phan Nha Bay is located in the city of Phuket in southern Thailand, and it is one of the most important tourist places in Phuket and extends over an area of 400 km in the Andaman Sea between the island and the Malay Peninsula in southern Thailand.
The Gulf contains 42 small islands, and is characterized by its abundance of limestone-filled caves and historical sites dating back more than ten thousand years, as a result of the low sea level.
