Lal Fort or Lal Qila is located in the walled city of Old Delhi, one of the places of tourism in New Delhi and a symbol of tourism in archaeological India.
It was built in the seventeenth century and its construction began by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in 1638 and work was completed on it in 1648.
In the past, it was the capital of the Mughals until the end of the reign of the Mughal Emperor Bahadur Shah Zafar in 1857, when he was exiled by the British India government.
